Services to manage records of Birth, Stillbirth, Death, and Marriage are offered. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9am to 4pm with daily lunch closure between 1pm and 1:30pm.
In addition to the main office, Shetland County has 20 home-based registration offices, with registrars available by appointment. A registrar is to be notified within 8 days of a birth or death, and selected registrars can be contacted to perform civil marriage and civil partnership services.
